Those states deserve a rebuke for flouting party rules, but their votes also deserve to be counted fairly.

NANCY GRAPE

May 11, 2008

The Democratic race for president has outrun the Boston Marathon -- twice. Odds or no odds, Sens. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and Barack Obama, D-Ill., appear ready to run until they collapse. If they do, they'll crumple into the arms of Democratic National Convention superdelegates, who will raise one of them as the party's candidate for president.

Then it's back on their feet and off to face a second grueling race, against Arizona's Republican Sen. John McCain.

Whew! That's arduous to write. Imagine what it must be like to tug on your running shoes every day, jog out onto the campaign trail and try to pull it off.

as an outsider looking in I see a very unfair system. The People are punished by the DNC for the states rule breaking?
