I've never understood it either. My guess is they get caught up in emotional knee jerk reaction and skip all logic. Plua many seem to be more concerned about criminals well being than the rest of us...

I do find it interesting, as beer mentioned and I demonstrated w/ Obama Drulz, that all the other things are right, and individual ones at that, but all the sudden 'The People' means the state or National Guard when it concerns the 2A

More proof that they are not liberals, but in fact are socialists or communists. As in:
The Peoples Republic of China (Commy China)
The Peoples Army (Commy China)
The Peoples Army Nave (Commy China)
The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (Commy north)
The Democratic Peoples Republic of Germany (Commy east)
