Re: Where'd everybody go?
I was wondering the same thing.
Seems like no one was posting, and I really didn't feel like putting up articles myself.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
Yeah, I've been falling behind. I am working on some articles of my own though. I've also been advertising this site at other places. Trying to pull some new blood in.

Yeah, my training is getting hard. Going through a portion that is actually mandated by the FAA. What a pain in the butt.

I've been posting less all around. So it's not specific to this forum in my case.

I definitely feel like an old fart on that board. And it seems as though days pass before there are any replies.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
sorry,
i've been neglecting the site for some time... i guess mainly for the same reason goat is.. not too many new posts to comment on and no real incentive to post myself
i'll make an effort to put some stuff up today

Re: Where'd everybody go?
I think some of it is a bit of burn out from losing the old CL. I know here isn't the same give and take that we had there, but its all our fault for that.
Re: Where'd everybody go?
I'm going to spend this weekend working on some article for you all to read. They may not be posted this weekend, but I'll get them out soon enough.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
yeah... about that, i love the fact that you're making an effort to get people to be more active on the forum, but i'm not a big fan of links, especially if it's to another forum and not really to a news source... try posting articles here, i feel that it helps keeping the discussion in one place
and beer, stop grumbling and post some stuff yourself! a forum works on the basis of contributions from posters, i feel that a lot of youz can make a greater effort considering how much you posted on old CL - the more people post the more others will reply, post themselves etc - getting a chain reaction and bringing this baby back to life would be nice
once again, biopiracy i appreciate the effort but i would prefer less links and more text in the future
cheers

I know I have been quite busy lately. I guess with the weather getting nicer... slowly... it gives everyone spring fever.
Re: Where'd everybody go?
Does anyone even post on this anymore? I know this has been discussed but I thought I would bring it up again. I remember the old CL, it was busy all the time. A leftie like myself struggled to get a post in edgewise between all the screeching about the Bible and justifications of torture, now nobody seems to post at all. I'm sure you've all got things to do but a bit of same-day back-and-forth would be nice.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
When the Old CL stopped, it was really hard to bring up a new one. Popov, did a good job creating this, but it will just take time to get it back up to what it once was.

Brilliant, what a clever and witty response. Your debating skills must make you the envy of all your friends.
