Bill O'Reilly

Something that has always bugged me is whether Bill O'Reilly really speaks for conservatives (or 'traditionalists' as he dubs himself)? Any help on this one? What do you guys think of Bill?

Bill Oreally is not a conservative.

He's an egotistcal wet finger in the air populist.

I finding slightly entertaining, often an ass, and sometimes a boor.

He's a nutcase if you ask me (and I'm aware no one was). Changes position every week and tries to stamp out freedom of speech when its something he doesn't like. I loved it when Letterman destroyed him, classic wit vs bluster.

Have you even seen their chat?! Letterman killed him. O'Reilly has no power when he can't raise his voice loud enough to drown out others. The Late Show is not somewhere you can get away with screeching. I knew you were a closet O'Reilly fan, you can't stand to see even a moderate conservative get criticised.

Letterman just made a few snide remarks with no facts to back him up.

And what facts did O'Reilly use? Does he ever use facts? Letterman was countering O'Reilly's style and way of criticising people he knows nothing about (e.g. Cindy Sheehan). He admitted he didn't think he knew enough to have a debate on the issues, but that wasn't what this was about. He was showing O'Reilly as he really is: a screeching monkey who is nothing but a tool
