An opportunity Empty An opportunity

Post by KSigMason Sat Nov 24, 2007 2:05 am

Members, moderators, and admin. I just tried to visit Politically Uncensored and it seems Dag has closed down shop.

PU is closed. Too many ignorant asses twisting my words to mean something other than what I meant them to be. Doesn't matter, PU would have never been the same. Good luck finding somewhere else. My personal apologies to everyone disappointed in this.

This site has a chance to bring over the members from that site and really kick this site into high gear.

I don't have any member contact information and I don't know how to chat with Dag, but I think we could really bank on this.

I haven't been into the forums as much recently, just checking in from time to time. But I will pass on the link to whomever is interested.

Good luck with the site.

Some of you may have read this, but here is a message from Dag:

I just wanted to say that I apologize to all those that are like "wth?" with the site closing and to those that asked for me to stick it out. I felt like I lost a lot here, but I'm not wishing to even deal with this stuff anymore.

I will say that I am set back by those who honestly thought I would be mean enough to be 'glad' that ILFB's kid passed away. Obviously you don't know me at all. Maybe my words weren't clear, but instead of asking me about, all that crap happened. My only intention was to point out that ILFB wished a painful death on GRC some months back, and now with the lose of his kid, I hope he feels really bad about what he said to GRC. Some of you took it as if I was glad his kid passed or that his kids death was some sort of 'payback' for what he said to GRC...which is total BS to even assume that is what I meant...again, you that thought that obviously didn't know me at all. And btw ILFB..I am sorry your kid passed...and my words weren't stabbing at that in anyway.

I tried my best to accomidate everyone, but I have to give it to IHL...he warned me when I started PU that trying to do that would only frustrate me. He was right.

I hope everyone finds a new 'home' to discuss politics... For me, I am tapping out of this ballgame... May I suggest <a href="http://www.theamericanright.com>TheAmericanRight.com. Even though I have had my differences over there...they are some good people there.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...

...rock on!

I'm not sure how the loss of my son had anything to do with this. I for one didn't take any offense at what happened at PU and everyone who knew about my son's death was kind and thoughtful. I am grateful for all those kind thoughts and prayers. Believe me, they really do mean something. I don't know how that got caught up in the whole PU drama. The two were never connected in any way.

And as for feeling bad about what I said to GRC.

Well, those who know me can guess my response to that.

It most definately was not your fault.
THere was something else going on there. How could all that come about in just a few hours? Cuz I'd only been back there a few hours.

The only thing that sucks about starting at a new forum is 1.)starting again from the bottom and 2.)since CL isn't made with vBulletin, I have to learn how to use a new interface, which is something I neurotically hate. I have a thing about, when I get a new electronics anything or start using a new site, I learn how to do EVERYTHING using that interface, as a result, I become an expert and become upset about having to learn anew. Ah well, always appreciate agood challenge! here's to C-L! *waves beer mug in air* (Damn it, you don't have that smiley...)
