CNN Allows Clinton Backer to Question GOP Candidates

The colonel mentioned is actually a retired brigadier general and part of the Clinton campaign. The point is that not only did CNN plant him and his question into the debate, but they also planted questions from the Obama and Edwards camps into the debate.

If this was reversed and it would have been Fox News planting questioners and questions from Republican candidates in a Democrat party presidential debate, does anyone think that it wouldn't be on the front page of every newspaper and leading off every newscast for at least the next week?

It all comes down to what do you expect from CNN. They lob soft balls at the DEMs and go after anyone conservative with a hammer. By all accounts most Democratic voters are much closer to the center than their allstar socialist list of candidates would indicate. This azzclowns question was fair though and there are a lot of voters that agree that Bill Clinton made the right decision with "don't ask, don't tell and take that thing out of your mouth soldier".

The absolute best part of it is that every last one of the Republican candidates, even the crazy one, weathered the planted questions well.

Guess the big news this week was Billy Bob's claiming that he was against the Iraq war from the start. The fact that facts don't support his lies never matter to a Clinton or a lefturd. They'll believe anything their told by the party. Sort of like those poor slobs shipped off to the Gulags in Russia for 70 some years. Most would act surprised that "don't ask, don't tell" was a Clinton rule and that gays had it better in the military before that was enacted.

This does not surprise me.
CNN has all the credibility of MAD magazine.

Duncan Hunter gets very little air time at the debates compared to Mitt and Rudy. When he finally gets some air time, he is responding to Hillary's plant, but it seems that he's just happy to get the air time from it at the debate.

I'm not overtly religious but I had the avatar stored and Bilbo yanked my chain so I uploaded it. I don't go to church as often as I should but then again I work nights and by 10:30 or 11:15 am I'm pretty much wiped out. Usually churches just set me off so maybe it's for the best anyway. The wife goes about every Sunday and I say a prayer everytime we kick a door so I guess we're covered.

Good to know I'm not completely ignored.

I've been away in the capital watching David Beckham play soccer so haven't been posting, but the planting of people really annoys me (and both sides do it). Reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Lisa comments on the media circus that follows the candidates. Real people don't get a look in, they can only decide on the candidates from what the travelling media decides to show them. Now I know its a cartoon but it seemed like a good point, and this planting of people is part of all that. I dunno, thats all I have to say on this, I'm too tired to think of anything else.

Yeah he was amazing, the man gets a lot of shit but he really is one gifted footballer. He can pass from anywhere and it lands softly at the targets foot, and hes got a brilliant first touch. I've never heard so many people happy that a penalty was awarded against them.

even here there was a media circus though, dyou see the tidbit on cnn about the little girls who fought cancer or something and he just walked by them apparently..... wtf
