Six Wives Over Texas

Has anyone been paying attention to the idiocy in Texas and the gummint's heavy handed tacitics? They used a tank (OK, an APC) and machine guns to steal400++ children from their parents.
All based on an anonymous phone tip from a person they can't find.

I understand that the majority of the girls who were taken out of this place currently are or have been pregnant at one time in their life (31/53 I believe). Not one of these girls is older than 17. Surely that suggests that things weren't quite on the level there?

I am not going to codon the tactics but unless it's all propaganda the kids were being abused sexually and physically including the boys

Well it could be a big beat-up, I think its important to wait and see what happens before any judgements are made. However, from all the information I've seen (from various sources), I think there is at least a case to answer. Things didn't look quite right at that compound.

That's what I think as well, though again, I'm reserving a final judgement until more facts come to light.

I'm concerned that actua facts won't come out.
I have no trust in the gummint or the press to do the right thing and tell us the truth.

Ignoring your claim about jihadist training centers, don't you think that these particular Christians may actually deserve to be locked up? Its not about religious persecution, its about a bunch of weird people who might have been sexually abusing children. A case to answer at the very least.

I'd prefer that the cops follow the law of the land, the Constitution, when locking up child abusers.

To paraphrase a famous American socialist, "I'd rather see a hundred guilty men go free than one innocent man be wrongly convicted."

Does anyone know what ultimately happened to these people? As I remember there were NO criminal charges that stuck because the government badly overreacted.

You are right, all the kids were returned and last I heard they were let off and are counter suing for violating their rights
