What does your screen name mean?

Many of us have somewhat cryptic screen names. What do they mean and how did you come up with them?

Mine is pretty simple, I was a cop in the City of Angels for 30 years before retiring some time back and moving back home to Texas.

SHort story...

In HS I never fit in w/ one group, I hung out w/ many different types of people, from Rednecks to Preps and even goths

One day in the upper parking lot I was talking to a friend named Rose, we were talking this and that and she said "So you're a non-conformist in a conformistic society?" and the name stuck

I was a VFW bartender for 8 years. Since I worked for a club instead of a private bar, the bartenders from the other places in town called me and my coworkers "clubtenders" as a insult. I took name, claimed the name for myself and proudly used it, thus a Clubtender was born.

I'm a retired Sherriff, and my name is Bob. Pretty exciting, huh? People have called me that since the late 70s and even though I'm retired everyone who knows me refers to me as "Sheriff". It's kind of an honor and I appreciate it.

I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander but I like how it sounds in German better. And 88 is a lucky number for Chinese.

Mine is an anagram of sorts. I chose it years ago with a random letter/word generator I was messing with.

I'm not much of a drinker so the beer part means nothing.

Mine is pretty easy, I'm Grace, and Jasmine is my favourite flower. It embodies a lot of the qualities I'm trying to cultivate in myself. ^_^

Mine is pretty obvious. It's my name.

My new screen name means Good To Go. It's a common response in the affirmative for people who lived in government housing, got paid small paychecks, had free healthcare and carried guns in dangerous neighborhoods doing dangerous things.

my name was given to me by a football team co-member a while back, like 7-8 years ago... the guy kept forgetting my real name, so he started calling my popov (the french typical name for a russian - like juan for a latino, ivan for a russian in english, etc)


so yeah... i've been using it ever since on the internet
