Japanese sword, a toy or a destructive device ?

a little off topic for guns. this is a replica of the real thing I got in Japan many years ago. in the 60"s. still in perfect condition. not a speck a rust on it at all. I never had the blade sharpened. but as you can see its big enough to do serious injury. I posted this on a WW2 board I work on this morning. it was a topic of much interest. thought I would show it to you guys. so. I can have my rifle in one hand and this in the other. shoot em, hack em and wack em. if i decided to have it sharpened.
