The Socialist Dream Of An American Police State Empty The Socialist Dream Of An American Police State

Post by Buzzy Sun Jan 28, 2007 6:07 pm

From abortion to zoning, "The Making of a Police State" is hard hitting and fast paced, exploring and uncovering many of the deceptions used to undermine the freedoms of America. With many personal examples and substantiated facts, you will see how this agenda affects your everyday lives. See how the elitists are infringing on the Bill of Rights and rewriting the meaning of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence to adversely affect you. See who is attempting to control your property, how your children are being desensitized and indoctrinated into the socialist mindset and learn of local politicians techniques to grab power from the people. Your eyes will be opened to the "public safety", "for the children" and "junk science" argument in attempts to control you and your family. Read about the untruths of the environmentalists and the real reason behind the "green movement". Chapter 12 reveals the true face of evil which leads the charge in the anti-American movement. Learn about your rights and responsibilities in combating this far left movement. http://www.bookviews.com/bookpage/policestate.html

Steve Trafford wrote the defining book regarding how the left constantly takes away people's freedoms in their socialist quest for the "common good". From Abortion to Zoning Laws and including smoking bans, seatbelts, and laws against parents spanking their children are all part of the far left socialist agenda to have the government take total control over everything you read, hear and think. While the socialist left puts their agenda into laws they claim that it is the right that would deny you the freedoms laid out in the US consitution as published here http://www.socialism.com/fsarticles/vol24no2/police.html This is an important book if you are confused by the left's true agenda in America.

Excerpts from the book are available at http://books.google.com/books?id=lueK2x08eoQC&dq=The+Making+of+a+Police+State&pg=PP1&ots=AFoWDv1rkO&sig=iLVcnNpMc5PYKY9r7bSLGLr1bFI&prev=http://www.google.com/search%3Fsourceid%3Dnavclient%26aq%3Dt%26ie%3DUTF-8%26rls%3DGGLJ,GGLJ:2006-42,GGLJ:en%26q%3DThe%2BMaking%2Bof%2Ba%2BPolice%2BState&sa=X&oi=print&ct=result&cd=1

I will give it a look, though I naturally remain sceptical about the factual accuracy of this book.

Like I've been saying for decades.
There is no major difference between right wing socialism and left wing socialism.

This book sounds like it re-confirms that.

sure, extreme socialism = police state as history has shown us - but if you look at the world right now, the countries with the highest standard of living (an index that includes personal freedoms, democracy etc) these are nations (most of scandinavia, canada and switzerland) with a healthy mix of right wing and left wing ideologies and policies - you take the other side of the coin and countries which have eradicated socialism as a number of you push for in your own country - these countries are basically dictatorships which are also police states and where, albeit the richest members of society have a lot of personal freedoms, the rest of the population live in poverty and can't really do anything about it. i think the classic example from history is the USSR on one hand and Nazi Germany on the other.

oh yeah, and erdicating socialism? think back to mcarthyism - the red scare - eliminating commie sympathisers - that kind of atmosphere greatly reduces freedom of speech - anybody who spoke against the govt, whether it was a pro-ussr statement or something totally irrelevant, lost his or her job and could be deported or jailed (i think the best example is chaplin)

Ah popov, your slightly left-leaning views have been missed. I'm not alone anymore.
