Problems with the profile?

Hey, I'm trying to add one of my websites to my profile, but when i do, it defaults my year of birth to 0, and says that the site doesnt allow people over 99 years of age. I know I'm getting on in years:P but this is a little ridiculous.
Also, is there anyway to make the D.O.B not shown on a public profile? I"m uncomfortable having that info on the internet just because of identity theft and all that jazz.

Anybody know how to fix either of these issues?
