Solitary confinement cruel to prisoners

I was shocked to read that Maine has more prisoners in solitary confinement than there are prisoners in "extreme custody" in all of England. Many prisoners may be suffering irreparable mental harm because of the experience of being locked in solitary confinement.

I think we treat them too well , people put themselves in these positions and then some bleeding heart wants to defend them . People must do the time if they do the crime .
