F. Lee Bailey pitches job program for inmates

Bailey envisions a program based on a similar one in Minnesota, which provides job skills and matches inmates with specific employers. The businesses reap the benefits of performing an important social service and saving the state money by reducing recidivism rates, Bailey said. The inmates not only get a job, he said, they receive mentorship and a support system to help them integrate into life outside prison.

I am kind of leaning towards agreeing . I hope that most ex-cons would not commit more crimes if they had a decent job, I do think that they be trying this at a bad time .
