Interstate 69 now part of NAFTA SUPERHIGHWAY

Interstate 69 from Texas to Michigan will now be part of the NAFTA superhighway system. A toll road owned by foreign companies right thru the heart of America.

It's a sad, sad day when foreign companies can do this to American's on our own soil.

I don't think one toll highway makes that much of a difference. A lot of highways in America are in modest shape, if this is a crucial artery, keeping it in good condition with good rest stops and nice road conditions thanks to toll money, where's the harm....? Or are you against foreign investment? Because as much as this project attracts attention there are thousands of foreign investments in America, it's just an inevitable part of the contemporary world - gov't owned infrastructure doesn't always work.

I don't think all foreign investment is completely wrong, but I find it eerie that a foreign company can tax me for driving on my native soil when they themselves are not citizens are tax payers.

Interstate highways are part of America's vital infrastructure, vital for the movement of person and product and yeah I do object to government owned (actually taxpayer owned) property being sold to a private concern, especially a foreign company who is going to make a profit from its use.

As my luck would have it, 69 runs right through my neck of the woods.
This is another case of Republicans selling the USA down the tubes to one worlders and corporate interests.

I am quickly becoming of the opinion that the Republican Party is more dangerous than the Dems.
