They are not "assault weapons". They are SKS's. They are not capable of selective fire between semi-automatic and automatic fire. They are mere semi-automatic firearms, so by definition they are not assault rifles.

I have to admit that my SKS's only wear that plastic junk for photos and to annoy liberals. 99.9% of the time, those rifles are in their original wood stocks and sporting their OEM fixed 10 round magazines. They do not handle or function well with all of the aftermarket plastic junk installed.

I think that most SKS owners go through a phase where they purchase every aftermarket toy that they can afford for it before realizing that the rifle's best configuration is the one it was in when it left the factory. Unaltered SKS rifles are quite possibly the best rifles available for survivalist/civilian militia use.

Liberals honestly don't know that they are the real bigots and racists in our society until they wander into places like this and have it pointed out to them. They don't get it that the term "redneck" is a racial slur. Just because the people who they call "rednecks" decided to take the word away from them and use it as their own, does not make it less of a slur when it is used as a slur.
