Who'll it be? Suspense is big, all four teams are capable but obviously the Pats are the top candidate and Chicago with the contrasting best defense and shaky offense will have the most trouble... but who knows.

I know some of you don't follow the NFL, so don't start complaining about it.... vote if you wanna.

Pats.

Tom Brady is the best playoff QB in the game and the rest of the Pats are solid. The colts defence is better, but still weak.
The Bears don't have a QB and had an easy schedule. I think the Saints will beat them.
The Saints are from New Mogadishu, and shouldn't be ALLOWED to win because of that.

The Patriots are from leftist Massachewzetts, but their mascot is The Patriot!
GO PATS!

Thanks popov, but my kid got into football and I started coaching his youth league, and he's a Pats and Notre Dame fan, so I go along with him.

I still think paying people to play a game we begged to be able to play as kids is ridiculous, but there are thousands of years of history telling me I'm in a tiny minority on that.

My biggest problem is when players, college, pro or otherwise, act like criminals off the field or jerks on the field and then get a pass. Guys like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning & Uhrlacher have no such issues.
But then there is TO, who should be beaten with a wet noodle!

I think the Pats have the best shot overall, but with one game deciding it, it leaves it wide open.

A key player being off his game can change the whole thing.

I thought NO would win, but I'm glad they didn't.

Right now NE is up 7-0 . . . I hope that trend remains.

I think the Pats are in great shape to pull off the win tonight, a few glitches, but the Colts look pretty poor so far.

wow, everyone was wrong.... But I'm very happy about Indy's victory cheers and Chicago played a lot better than the saints.... I hate to admit it but they deserved it. Those fumbles were atrocious.

I hate New Mogadishu so I'm glad the Aints lost. I could care less about the Bears.

I was rooting for the Pats, but they just plain got beat. Manning showed that he CAN win big games. I think the SB should be a good one.

But remember, it's just a game! cheers

I joined the local American football team in October so for me it has become a sport. Also, even if that's how you feel about football, it's still good fun to watch.

I'm not sure yet, they've been trying me out at free safety, corner and 3rd receiver so far.... I'll probably be a combination thereof seeing as I'm not big enough to be a starter in those positions... and I can't compensate size with experience just yet Very Happy

I'm sure they did Very Happy But for the moment I'm a rookie and there are plenty of guys with more experience than me, so I'll have to wait and see if I can get a starting position, not that it really matters, we're so few (the whole team is less than 30 guys) that I'll prob be able to play most of the time by subbing multiple positions. The league is small too, last year the team played with 9 men on the field, if they play with the regulation 11 this time around, my chances of getting significant playing time will be much better. I'm happy this way anyways, because I don't think I'm in enough shape yet to do a whole match. We'll see, the season starts in august, we'll have half a year of training before it does, lots of things can change during that time.

If you have a Churchillian attitude, you can accomplish a lot more than people expect of you. GO FOR IT!

just curious, how hard/easy is it to get football equipment over there?

I'm gonna find out in the next weeks - there are a couple of guys who bought everything and then decided to quit the team, so maybe i can get their stuff, otherwise, the team orders in batches and a set with all the protective gear you can put on, except, of course, gloves and shoes, for 279 Euros from Germany - basically the home of NFL Europe. 279 Euros is 400 swiss francs and roughly 340 USD, i think. So, I guess it's not too bad. We use the same equipment as the NCAA - Schutt helmets and whatnot.

Shutt makes good helmets, as does Riddel. But you have to try them on because every model is shaped a bit differently.

Remember, if you want to look the part, you have to wear LOTS of stuff from Under Armour, shirts, gloves, chin pads, etc.

It's all about the look!

I already gots orange Reebok receiver gloves, and a UA undershirt that has special rubber holds to keep the pads in place on me, plus I've gone a little nuts with fake authentic jerseys from asia, so I think I got the look down thus far... I still need to get new cleats though.

Also, you have to have your hair clipped REAL short, and then have your jersey number "carved" into your hair.

It's a great look.
